The University of Jamestown track and field teams competed at the Dickinson State University Open on Thursday in Dickinson.
Second-place finishers on the men's side included UJ's Bryson Tripp in the 110 hurdles (16.76 seconds) and triple jump (12.11 meters), Darien Hauf in the 400 hurdles (1:00.53) and Braedon Gumke in the pole vault (4.26 meters). Jamestown's 1,600-meter relay team of Obed Karege, Andrew Hornung, Noah Mang, and Lorenzo Maldonado also placed second in a season-best time of 3:26.13.
UJ's Anni Stier, Allyson Schreiber and Alexis Waldren each scored first-place finishes for the women.
Stier won the 400 hurdles in 1:07.81, Schreiber took the steeplechase in 13:24.28, and Waldren won the discus with a toss of 34.24 meters.
Second-place finishes included Sara Bonn in the 100 and 400 hurdles and Waldren in the hammer throw, as well as the 800-meter relay team of Gracie Bohl, Stier, Kristin Breaux, and Anna Allen, and the 1,600 relay team of Naja Whitehead, Jordynn Toliver, Stier, and Breaux.

UJ track and field is scheduled to travel to Aberdeen, South Dakota, on Saturday to compete in the Northern State University Twilight Meet.
