Brian Faison has spent as many full years as UND's athletic director as he has signed contract extensions.
After recently completing his second year as athletic director, Faison has agreed to another deal.
The school announced Tuesday that Faison's contract has been extended through June 2015. Last summer, his contract was signed through 2012.
"I'm very appreciative of the confidence the president has in me and the direction we're heading in the transition," Faison said. "I look forward to continuing to be a part of the program as we continue to transition to Division I."
Faison, who previously was a special assistant to the president at New Mexico State, took over as UND athletic director for Tom Buning, who resigned in November of 2007. Faison officially became UND's 15th athletic director on April 17, 2008.

"Brian continues to provide a steady hand in guiding UND's athletics programs through the transition into NCAA Division I," UND President Robert Kelley said. "In addition, he is an excellent advocate for UND's programs and represents the university with distinction in the Great West Conference, the WCHA and around the country during team competition."
