Valley City State has hired Susan Kolbow as its new volleyball coach.
Kolbow has been an assistant coach at Minnesota State Moorhead since 2006, where she also played for the Dragons from 2000-04.
"I am very excited about becoming part of the successful Viking program and contributing to their well-known reputation for both academic and athletic excellence," she said.
Kolbow replaces Craig Case, who left to become the head coach at Texas A&M-Commerce.
Valley City State continues its search for an athletic director to replace BJ Pumroy, who took the same job at Shepherd University (W.V.).
