The Velva Aggies and the Hillsboro Burros once again sit on top of the North Dakota Class A and 9-man football polls, respectively, this week.
Velva (5-0) heads five teams that are all still undefeated in the Class A ranks. The entire top five remains the same this week, with Watford City (6-0) and Cavalier (6-0) rounding out the top three.
Hillsboro received all 11 first-place votes and currently leads the 9-man standings with a record of 6-0. Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter (5-0) and Richardton-Taylor-Hebron (5-0) are the other two undefeated teams in the top five and are tied for second.
Divide County, who sat fourth last week, dropped out of the poll following a 40-38 loss to Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood. Mott-Regent (4-1) now finds itself in the fourth position, with Wyndmere-Lidgerwood (4-1) entering the poll at No. 5.
New Rockford-Sheyenne (3-2), Wells County (4-1), Sargent Central (5-0) and St. John (4-1) are all receiving votes.
