Cody Schilling and the Augustana Vikings were too much for Jamestown College on Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Schilling hit 9 of 15 shots from the field and scored 21 points to lead Augustana to an 82-61 victory over the Jimmies in their season opener.
The game was considered an exhibition game for the Jimmies.
Augustana, an NCAA Division II team from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, had four players in double figures and built a 41-29 halftime lead over the Jimmies.
Lee Stephens hit 6 of 8 shots from the field and 5 of 7 from the free throw line to score 17 points. Kenny Brown came off the bench and hit 5 of 8 three-pointers in a 17-point outing. Cameron McCaffrey added 10 for Augustana (1-0).

Hans Hoeg and Dustin Herrmann each scored 12 points to lead the Jimmies.
The Jimmies (3-2) travel to Aberdeen, S.D., on Tuesday night for another exhibition game against a Northern Sun team, Northern State. JC returns home to take on Peru State (Neb.) on Friday.
