Big blocks at the net for Edgeley/Kulm-Montipelier unfortunately could not slow down Griggs-Midkota's swings Monday night.

The Titans swept the Rebels, 25-21, 25-19, 25-20 to improve to 2-5 while EKM dropped to 1-7. Griggs-Midkota is slated to host Region 3, District 5 leader, Oakes (10-0) today at 7 p.m. EKM will face LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (6-5) at home today. First serve between the Rebels and Loboes is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Rebels put up six solo blocks against hard swings from Jenna Larson and Asia Bercherl. The duo combined for 19 of the team's 29 kills. In the back row, Jacee Angel and Emma Coleman popped up 31 digs to setters Medora Brandner and Brooke Topp.

Grace Irey led the Rebels with 12 kills.

Medina/Pingree-Buchanan continues win streak

Alania Bosche was a powerhouse in the back row for the Thunder Monday night.

The freshman libero helped anchor Medina/Pingree-Buchanan's most recent sweep of Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter. The Thunder bested the Imperials 25-19, 25-23, 25-21 to improve to 6-4. NGS dropped to 2-2 in the standings.

Bosche popped up 22 digs in the back row and served up a pair of aces from the backline. Abby Helm and Emily Carlson helped Bosche out combining for 31 more digs.

MPB will be matching up with Barnes County North (5-4) on Thursday NGS will host undefeated Linton/HMB (10-0) today at 7 p.m.
