The Jamestown swimming and diving team took a majority of the events, but Williston was able to defend its home pool as the Coyotes defeated the Blue Jays 110-76 in a West Region dual on Friday in Williston.
Alex Lind set yet another pool record from the board, placing first to keep her flawless season alive.
Mercedes Westereng followed in second place with a personal best and Abbie Conlon followed in fourth.
"The whole team had a really good warm-up," said Jamestown coach Ben Smith. "It's tough riding a bus for so long and then getting ready to compete, but I thought they competed even better than their warm-ups. I think they even performed better than what their scores showed."
Erin Hart picked up first-place finishes in the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke, while sister Annie Hart topped the field in the 50 freestyle. Annie Hart also finished third in the 100 backstroke.

"We were ready to compete as a team," said Smith, who is in his first year as the Blue Jays' head coach. "They came up here and were ready to get in and perform their best."
The Blue Jays' 200 freestyle relay team also had a big day as they finished first with a time that currently gives the Blue Jay quartet the fourth seed in the state.
"It's really exciting for one of one of our relays to be placed so high -- in medal contention," Smith said.
Paige Peterson also had a solid day in the pool placing second in the 50 free and third in the 100 free.
Chesney Middaugh had a personal best in the 100 breaststroke to give her a third-place finish.
Jamestown will stay on the road for another West Region dual today in Minot.
"It's going to be really good weekend for the team to compete well on back-to-back days," said Smith.
