A youth off-road race is planned for Saturday at Pipestem Reservoir as part of the XTERRA extreme marathon.
The race is free and open to kids ages 14 and under. The course begins with a half-mile run, followed by a 2-mile bike ride and then a one-mile run. All three are run consecutively.
A helmet and bike are required.
Participation prizes will be awarded to each entrant.
